At the current time Roger Holl is in Bethel with the ministry of Voice for Christ Ministries (rural Alaska Christian radio).
He left on Saturday (June 20, 2015) with Richard Redmond to travel to the station in Bethel. They will be traveling by river boat each day to a new village or fish camp.
Roger and Richard will be heading around on the Kuskokwim River delivering solar powered radios to the regions, and will also be blessed themselves in seeing all that God is doing there.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
They rejoiced in the seminary construction in Bethel.
Samaritan's Purse is working in constructing seminary in Bethel, Alaska, and it is a wonderful thing to seeing God's work there this summer.
"Bethel, Alaska is a growing city of approximately 6,000 people located 400 air miles from Anchorage and 80 miles from the mouth of the Kuskokwim River. The city of Bethel forms the regional hub for the 56 surrounding villages. Since its founding in 1885, the Moravian Church has strived to be a shining light in the lives of the local Yupik people. The Bethel Moravian Seminary, was established in 1955 and continues to provide training for needed Christian leaders. The expansion of the school’s facilities will allow training for more Native Christians.
